splinterend:
As some of you may know, Paramount commissioned (in)famous director M. Night Shyamalan to adapt the popular Nickelodian series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” into a movie trilogy. The TV series revolves a fantasical, Hayao Miyazaki-inspired universe that deals with individuals capable of controlling and manipulating (aka “bending”) one or several of the earth’s elements – Earth,...

Jumped the Shark
Feeling creative, yet uninspired.
I want to write, I just have nothing to write about.
Working as a tour guide on a boat is more mind-numbing than I thought and less awkward than I imagined.
Cornflakes are not for feeding to your cat, but I can’t resist.

Ma You're Just Jealous
I’m listening to the Beastie Boys instead of reading A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce.

Cliche
Hearts and pink may be cliche, but I like them anyway.
Inspired by Mr. Deeds on TV right now and his rhyming skills.
To be serious, Valentines Day has always been important to me. I’ve never had a Valentine for the holiday, but it’s always been a day that my family comes together to tell each other we love each other, a day of bringing in gifts and candy to school and people being...

On Campus
Overhearing conversations is sometimes entertaining, sometimes awkward.. mostly hilarious.
Guy 1: “So do you think you’re going to marry Michelle?”
Guy 2: “Uh….”
Don’t know why this struck me as funny, maybe because it came out of nowhere, they were just walking along, and Guy 2 had just gotten off his phone. Not really a conversation one has walking...

Sometimes I look at things like this and think I would love living in a big city. But I guess you never know till you try and right now I’m in P-Town for a few years, pure Mormon sprawl and dry air.
